Podcasts are everywhere and no doubt that they have a place in educational media. Podcasting offers the opportunity for lecturers to broadcast engaging audio that is easy to fit into daily routines so students can learn while doing mundane tasks.
Producing and sharing educational podcasts here at Aalto is rather uncomplicated by using A Pod studio in conjunction with Panopto to record and then publish your Panopto podcast in MyCourses.
You can repurpose your lectures into podcast but adding another person to your podcast is an easy way to keep it more engaging and entertaining. Conversational podcasts works best so find your colleague and record your discussion on the topic. Or you can turn the setting upside and find someone who knows nothing about the subject and record the conversation as you explain the key concepts.
