The NORDLOG Doctoral Day 14 June 2023 at 9:00-16:00
Aalto University Campus, Otaniemi Espoo, Maarintie 8
The aim of the NORDLOG doctoral day is to provide PhD students with professional skills for their academic career. In addition, the doctoral day is an event where doctoral researchers can network and build relationships among fellow young scholars within the field of supply chain management and logistics, while learning from senior researchers. The colloquium is open for doctoral students at different stages of their project.
At Nofoma 2023, the overarching theme of the doctoral day is relevance. It is a full-day event arranged from 9-16 in the 14th of June 2023 hosted by Aalto School of Business and Hanken. The first half of the day will focus on practical presentation skills in the form of an interactive workshop. Think about how you can present why your research is relevant to society (or a certain industry). Here, theory and method is not key, but the relevance of your topic and findings. Be prepared to work with your own pitch during the workshop. You can check out these two YouTube videos for advice and tips.
