towards this prject we were divide into teams of three to four people. The main idea of the project was to base a interaction with technology according to a certain gesture. The gesture our team chose was a bow. The choice was made base do n our observations as to how some poeple treat technology they use every day- some poeple do tend to be respectful, however some people tend to vent their anger and frustration in the virtual and digital. With this we have designed a computer interaface which would only respond when the user was in a calm mood, treating the compute as an equal partner in the work they do. The system was set to stat when the user bows, and the computer would reespond with a similar gesture, closing and opening a laptop.
We have demonstrated this with a short performance, imitating a CEO of a tech company pitching their idea to an audience.
