Online poster session info

Note! Zoom 5.3 or later required. Instruction: Upgrade / update to the latest version – Zoom Help Center

We will organize an online poster session — for the first time in the FYSFC series! The poster session will be organized much in a similar manner as in the 2020 November Networking – ALD at Aalto University | Aalto University, with individual Zoom breakout room for each poster presenter. Poster template for FYSFC 2021, online poster session guidelines here (v. 8.4.2021).

Participants are encouraged to pre-record a pitch talk (max 2 min) of their poster. The pitch videos will be shared as a link via the Panopto folder, here (anyone with link can view). The videos should be shared with the organizers to be uploaded in Panopto latest on 6.4.2021.

Poster codes (i.e., Zoom breakout room numbers), presenters, topics and room schedule:

2 Matias Alvear ÅA Transient studies reveal the epoxidation mechanism of alkenes
3 Niko Heikkinen VTT Enhancing Fischer-Tropsch catalyst performance with Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) overcoating
4 Vera D. Jäger AU Ethanogenesis – Reprogramming Archaea for a sustainable future
5 Xiaojia Lu ÅA Determination of the heat capacity of selected catalysts and catalyst supports
6 Jay Pee Ona ÅA Electrocatalytic conversion of glucose and xylose on highly dispersed mesoporous carbon-supported Au nanocatalysts
7 Ole Reinsdorf ÅA Direct Synthesis of Hydrogen Peroxide – Novel insights into the reaction mechanism with transient studies and in-situ spectroscopy
8 Silvan Scheller AU Extremophile microorganisms as a source of highly productive enzymes for CO2 reduction to formic acid and other C1fuels and platform chemicals
9 Christoph Schmidt ÅA Catalyst Development for the Direct Synthesis of Hydrogen Peroxide
10 Jihong Yim AU Atomic layer deposition of zinc on mesoporous monoclinic zirconia for catalytic applications

Rooms 11-20: “Lunch/coffee tables”: jump in to discuss with colleagues – anyone may join
Rooms 21 on: Meet with colleagues, agreed in advance (if you join without pre-agreement, ask if joining is ok, please)

Zoom practice session for presenters

(Info 25.3.2021) On Wednesday 7.4. in the afternoon, we will offer the possibility for all presenters (invited speakers, oral presentations, online posters) to test their connections with Zoom. Invitations will come to presenters by email.
