Little did the stranded kosmonaut Ilya Kuriagin, the last surviving member of Mars family funded Mars mission, know that help was on its way, as he on 25th August set on his daily patrol around the Valles Marineris Mars Expedition base.  Around 1200 HRS local time he noticed a landing module approaching Mars Expedition Base. The two years he had spent stranded on the Red Planet had been a fight for survival and he was beginning to think that rescue mission wont reach him on time before the supplies ran out. After turning on the homing beacon he witnessed a smooth landing of a crowd-sourced private rescue mission by Sesame Street Gang.

I was not prepared for the welcome I received from Elmo and other Sesame Stree characters

”I felt like really relieved, but I was not prepared for the welcome I received from Elmo and other Sesame Street characters. It was heartwarming to receive a standing ovation when I boarded the rescue lander” told Mr Kuriagin to Ruff-Tuff-Huff-Puffington Post.

”Ilya is a great guy and his heroic fight  Against All Odds sets an example for us Kid’s TV show characters who are currently struggling in the recession and facing lay-offs.” told Elmo to the cheering crowds in Miami.
