updated: March 2021<\/em><\/p>\n INFO for artists:<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n The space:<\/b> Sushibar+Wine City is located on the 2nd floor of Citycenter (Kaivokatu 8, Helsinki). Please, download\u00a0a drawing of the exhibition wall from the bottom of this text. You may also visit the space to get an idea how the wall is situated.<\/p>\n Hanging system:<\/b>\u00a0Picture rail. Possibility of tape for smaller images, provided the wall remains undamaged.<\/p>\n Lighting in the space:<\/b> There are some regular spot lights available but note that all lighting should be planned so that it does not disturb the restaurant visitors. The exhibition wall faces large windows. The artworks can be also seen from the outside.<\/p>\n Supervising the exhibitions:<\/b> There is no supervision in the exhibition and the restaurant will not be in any way responsible for the artworks exhibited. The artist will exhibit on their own risk.<\/p>\n Opening hours:<\/b> The exhibition will be open during the opening hours of the restaurant.<\/p>\n Fees:<\/b> There are no fees related to this application or the exhibition space.<\/p>\n Sales:<\/b> The artworks will be for sale. The artist must provide a price list for the works. There is no commission. The price list and a list of works will be put on the statement \/ biography template (see below: \u201cOther materials\u201d).<\/p>\n Advertising:<\/b> The restaurant will advertise and communicate to its customers clearly that the artworks are for sale. Social media is used. The artist is advised to use additional advertising.<\/p>\n Hanging and taking down the exhibition:<\/b> The artist is responsible for hanging and taking down the artworks. The hanging will be done in the morning of the exhibition opening day (usually Thursday) before the restaurant opens. This will also be the time when the previous exhibition is taken down. The artists involved should contact each other to make the arrangements for taking down \/ hanging the works.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Opening:<\/b> The artist may arrange a small opening gathering on the day of the opening at 19:00\u201320:00 (time and the opening should be confirmed with Sushibar+Wine staff for each exhibition separately) depending on COVID-19 restrictions<\/strong>. Sushibar+Wine provides some sparkling wine for the event. All invitations and advertising of the opening is done by the artist.<\/p>\n Other materials:<\/b> The artist must provide a short artist statement and bio with a photograph for the exhibition. This is done on a template that can be found here as a link. The artist should print out the template paper filled with their info by the time of the opening of their exhibitions. Ravintola ei ole vastuussa n\u00e4yttelyn taideteoksista. Taiteilija pit\u00e4\u00e4 n\u00e4yttelyn omalla vastuullaan.<\/p>\n N\u00e4yttelyn aukioloajat:<\/b> N\u00e4yttely on avoinna ravintolan aukioloaikoina.<\/p>\n Maksut:<\/b> T\u00e4h\u00e4n hakuun tai n\u00e4yttelytilaan ei liity maksuja taiteilijalle.<\/p>\n Teosmyynnit:<\/b> N\u00e4yttelyn teokset ovat myynniss\u00e4. Taiteilijan tulee toimittaa teoksistaan hintalista. Ravintola ei osallistu teosmyyntiin eik\u00e4 velota myyntipalkkiota. Hinta-\/teoslista tulee statementin ja bion yhteyteen (ks. alla \u201cmuut materiaalit\u201d).<\/p>\n Mainonta:<\/b> Ravintola mainostaa n\u00e4yttely\u00e4 ja ilmoittaa asiakkailleen selke\u00e4sti, ett\u00e4 kyseess\u00e4 on myyntin\u00e4yttely. Sosiaalista mediaa k\u00e4ytet\u00e4\u00e4n hy\u00f6dyksi mainonnassa. Taiteilijan suositellaan mainostaa omaa n\u00e4yttely\u00e4\u00e4n t\u00e4m\u00e4n lis\u00e4ksi.<\/p>\n N\u00e4yttelyn pystytys ja purku:<\/b> Taiteilija on vastuussa n\u00e4yttelyn pystytyksest\u00e4 ja purkamisesta. N\u00e4yttely pystytet\u00e4\u00e4n ensimm\u00e4isen n\u00e4yttelyp\u00e4iv\u00e4n (yl. torstai) aamuna ennen ravintolan aukeamisaikaa. Samaan aikaan edelt\u00e4v\u00e4 n\u00e4yttely puretaan. Taiteilijat, joiden n\u00e4yttely puretaan\/pystytet\u00e4\u00e4n samanaikaisesti, sopivat kesken\u00e4\u00e4n ripustus-\/purkuaamun j\u00e4rjestelyist\u00e4.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Avajaiset:<\/b> Taiteilija voi j\u00e4rjest\u00e4\u00e4 avajaistilaisuuden n\u00e4yttelyss\u00e4 avajaisp\u00e4iv\u00e4n\u00e4 klo 19:00\u201320:00 (aika ja avajaiset vahvistettava jokaista n\u00e4yttely\u00e4 varten erikseen Sushibar+Winen henkil\u00f6kunnan kanssa), riippuen COVID-19 rajoituksista<\/strong>. Sushibar+Wine tarjoaa avajaisjuomaa.
