Dear Aalto ARTS students and alumni, we are excited to announce the Open Call for exhibitions at Sushibar+Wine City for 2023!<\/p>\n
This collaborative project was previously managed by Photography students at Aalto University, and is intended for showcasing works by current students and alumni. The project is hosted by Sushibar+Wine City in downtown Helsinki, on the second floor of CityCenter Helsinki where the restaurant has reserved a wall for exhibitions arranged by Aalto ARTS students.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n In this Open Call, we are looking for six exhibitions to held in Sushibar+Wine City between January 2023 and December 2023.Each exhibition will be on show for approximately two (2) calendar months.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n We are looking for professional artistic and creative projects from all areas of the arts. The theme, concept and format of the artworks and exhibited pieces are not restricted. However, applicants must take into consideration the venue\u2019s primary function as a restaurant serving lunch and dinner.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n This is a great opportunity for applicants to:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n – Show ready works without costs Fees and commissions:\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n – The exhibition space is free of charge. The artist is responsible for producing the artworks and for installing and dismantling the exhibition.<\/p>\n – The exhibited works will be for sale. The artist must provide a list of exhibited works. All possible purchases will be agreed upon between the artist and the buyer.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n – There is no commission<\/p>\n Applicants may request a particular time slot for their exhibition but we do not guarantee you will receive the requested slot. Kindly mention clearly in the application if there exhibition times that are NOT suitable for you.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Exhibition slots:\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n January – February 2023 The exact opening and closing dates for the exhibitions and the dates for installation and dismantle will be determined when the exhibitions are determined. This will help the committee to understand clearly the theme, content and style of your exhibited works and installation. Taideteosten ja n\u00e4ytteill\u00e4 olevien teosten teemaa, konseptia ja muotoa ei ole rajoitettu. Hakijoiden on kuitenkin otettava huomioon, ett\u00e4 paikka toimii ensisijaisesti ravintolana.<\/p>\n T\u00e4m\u00e4 on loistava tilaisuus:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n – N\u00e4ytt\u00e4\u00e4 valmiita teoksia ilman kustannuksia Maksut ja palkkiot:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n – N\u00e4yttelytila on maksuton.
