Lindgren, H. (2012) Knowledge Artifacts as Tools to Communicate and Develop Knowledge in Collaborative User-Driven Design, CBMS 2012

This paper had some of the keywords I use, but was little bit off my topic. It is focused on development of ICT-tools that help collaboration and care in clinical context. The knowledge artifacts mentioned in the title are the ICT-tools. These artifacts are designed based on the checklists (boundary objects) they previously used in treating dementia patients. The tool help gain shared understanding among different professional roles involved in the patient care. Compared to the previously used checklists, the ICT tools enable more people to participate due to the better visibility and accessibility of information. In the paper the tools are developed and evaluated togerther with the medical professionals.
