Of wiring the brain

This week we learned about how the brain first gets to be the brain, how the cells evolve, how the neural connections are formed, and how they are “kept up to date” for the rest of our lives.

At the same time, I started working on Exercise 4, had a little bit of trouble with installing pyaudio for latency measurement, but managed to solve it with the help of stackoverflow.

This course has a very wide range. It is interesting to apply everything we have learned to real-life neuroscientific examples. I think it promotes learning to connect theory to practice. However, practice always tends to use only parts of theory and approximate. So one must be careful to still look at the theory for the exam!
