And I have to said it was quite hard for me. One chapter takes me approximately 4 hours of reading. The main problem with reading is understanding the complicated processes in the brain. For example, the chemical description of Cytosol and Extracellular fluid. In this case, I think I understand the main process, but I am missing the chemical background because I did not have a chemistry course for the last seven years.

The next week we will probably find out how much we have to learn. But completing the course is one thing. On the other hand, the human brain is a fascinating topic and the book explains the problems very well.

The most fascinating process I read talks about creating proteins for a specific type of cell. Maybe some biologists can say it is just a normal process, but as a technical person, it is really fascinating to observe and look into the basic functions of the human brain. Maybe for this topic, I have a question, I did not find the answer in a book, or maybe I did not understand the process well, but how does the RNA “know” which part of DNA “give” to the mRNA?

I have finished reading chapters 2 and 3.
