WHO? <\/strong>All members of TUTA Staff, Faculty including Researchers, Professors, Post docs and Docents and Doctoral researchers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Welcome to RUSKA research day Vol 9 on Wednesday 22 October 8:30-16:00<\/strong> – A Day for TUTA Research, Teaching, and Impact<\/strong>. This year we will spend a day at the iconic Olympic Stadion<\/a> in Helsinki.<\/h5>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\n

Arrival to the Olympic Stadium <\/strong>– please enter through the Visitor Centre <\/strong>right by the Tower. From there you will find signs to our meeting room 1952 (section A).
Arriving to the Olympic Stadium | Olympiastadion<\/a>. If you arrive by car, with good luck you can find free spaces at the “Tornipiha” close to our entrance. More parking spaces are on Urheilukatu, M\u00e4ntym\u00e4en kentt\u00e4, in front of T\u00f6\u00f6l\u00f6n kisahalli. All spaces are chargeable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Flow of the Day<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will start the day with breakfast, networking and department information. The morning continues covering research pitches and funding related topics. After our break we discuss the developing of the TUTA strategy by identifying and facilitating cross-cutting strategic themes and related collaboration across the department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After lunch you can chose between afternoon activities: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A. Stadium \u201cOlympic Team Games<\/strong>\u201d<\/strong> – Just for Fun! The games will be indoors and you don’t have to wear sports clothing other than indoor shoes. The number of participants is limited to 20.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

B. Olympic stadium guided tour i<\/strong>ncluding the Tower <\/strong>and TAHTO <\/strong>museum (90 min)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the end of the day we welcome you to join our Happy Hour at Sports Bar Hook, Mannerheimintie 17 – the first round of drinks is on the department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This annual research day is intended for all TUTA faculty, doctoral researchers, and staff \u2013 don\u2019t miss out!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
