We are living in pandemic times and almost everything is being digitalized in order to experience it from home. As important art fairs were cancelled, the evolution of online galleries into online viewing rooms (OVR) accelerated. This is a turning point in the art industry as it is changing the culture around art galleries. Will OVR completely replace the physicality of art galleries? As much as it is necessary and comfortable to view art galleries by yourself online, the experience of physically going to look at an art piece for the first time is hard to replace with staring at your screen all day.
