Studies (Plan the teaching events, Do them, Check the perfomance\/ gaps, Act to fill them).<\/h3>\n<p>and<\/p>\n<h3>Putting Learning Analytics into Practice Utilizing Concept Mapping: From Learning Assignment to a Portfolio Illustrating Student\u2019s Personal Study Plans<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>by:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jani Romanoff<\/strong>: Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Aalto University<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ville Kivim\u00e4ki<\/strong>: Project manager,Dean&#8217;s Unit of the School of Engineering, Aalto University<\/p>\n<p>and<\/p>\n<p><strong>Joonas Pesonen<\/strong>: A former project manager in CSC &#8211; IT Center for Science (leading data infrastructure modernization project for Finnish education &amp; research data)<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_66\" style=\"width: 563px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-66\" class=\"wp-image-66 \" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.aalto.fi\/conceptmapanalytics\/files\/2018\/01\/IMG_6446-2-788x375.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_6446\" width=\"553\" height=\"271\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-66\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Joonas Pesonen giving a lecture on IT system architecture used in ConceptmapAnalytics<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Some 80 showed up. Some came from other Latvian universities, but most were from Riga Technical University.<\/p>\n<p>After the lecture we had great discussions with participants. Our approach seemed to draw a lot of interest. We had great time at Riga.
