The conference will be held in the House of Science and Letters (in Finnish: Tieteiden Talo, street address: Kirkkokatu 6) in Kruununhaka, Helsinki. Kruununhaka is a beautiful, calm neighbourhood within a walking distance from the Helsinki downtown area. The neighbourhood is home to buildings such as the Helsinki Cathedral, Presidential Palace as well as several departments of the University of Helsinki. See map of the area.
We recommend that you make a hotel reservation early. Most hotels offer flexible cancellation options. Helsinki is a popular destination in June.

Within a short tram ride is the neighborhood of Hakaniemi where options include Hilton Helsinki Strand and Scandic Hakaniemi. Hakaniemi is part of Kallio, a district with a broad selection of shops, restaurants and bars.
