Conference information is updated in our group&#8217;s website in: <a href=\"http:\/\/cmet.aalto.fi\/en\/research\/industrial_chemistry_catalysis\/young_scientist_forum_2018\/\">http:\/\/cmet.aalto.fi\/en\/research\/industrial_chemistry_catalysis\/young_scientist_forum_2018\/<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>plenary speaker will be Prof. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.inorganic-chemistry-and-catalysis.eu\/people\/professors\/KrijndeJong\/research.html\">Krijn De Jong<\/a>, Utrecht University, The Netherlands, <a href=\"http:\/\/efcats.org\/\">EFCATS<\/a> Francois Gault lecturer:\u00a0&#8220;Effects of size and location of metal nanoparticles in catalysis&#8221;<\/strong>. The lecture is simultaneously part of Aalto course CHEM-1140 (Catalysis for Bimass Refining). After the young scientist forum, there will be have the annual meeting of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.katalyysiseura.org\/catsoc.htm\">Finnish Catalysis Society<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>FYSFC will now be organized for the third time. The fundamental goal behind the event is to gather together scientists in the field of catalysis in Finland.\u00a0 Applying the same practices as in the annual seminars of Finnish graduate schools, we offer all doctoral students &lt;on catalysis&gt; a forum to present their research. In 2018, you can request to present your work as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Full-length oral presentation (~15 min), for doctoral students and optionally for postdocs<\/li>\n<li>Poster + 1-2 min oral, optionally doctoral students who presented last year, for postdocs, and optionally other researchers<\/li>\n<li>Poster only, other than doctoral students<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Registration is now open; please\u00a0register through the following link latest on March 16: <a href=\"https:\/\/eage.aalto.fi\/?fs\/YSF\">https:\/\/eage.aalto.fi\/?fs\/YSF.<\/a> <\/strong>Please prepare to fill in the title of your presentation and presentation highlights as bullet points (max 300 words).
