Survey for researchers on the use of electronic publications
The Finnish National Electronic Library, FinElib, is carrying out a user survey aimed at researchers working in universities, research institutes and university hospitals. The survey will be open from September 19th to October 16th 2011.
The survey will focus on finding out
– Which scholarly publications are important to researchers
– How researchers use electronic publications
– What problems researchers have encountered when using electronic publications
The survey will also address topical issues such as the acquisition of information by those carrying out international and multi-disciplinary research. Libraries and information services within organizations will be able to use the results of the survey to develop more effective and comprehensive services for researchers.
A book-token worth 100 euro will be raffled among the respondents. For the purposes of the raffle, respondents can give their contact information on a separate form that will not be linked with the answers given.
