Paper looks at design meeting in a virtual world with avatars. 20% of design communication during the meeting is used on clarification of the idea, 17% to task introduction and 16% to the idea introduction. The coding scheme inlcudes 8 more categories, and it is based on previous work of Maher. Benefits of using an 3D environment are, for example, the possibility for the client to move around the design and discuss it with the designer at the same time helped clients understand the design better, and the possibility to see what another person is looking while discussing the design due to avatars.
