Introducing keynote: Max Lachmann

Max Lachmann from Swedish Avalanche Studios will give us a walkthrough in recording and implementing vehicle sounds in games. We will hear about the whole process: finding vehicles, getting the right equipment for the job, recording, post processing and implementing.

About Max: Originally in the music business as a producer, song writer and guitar player, a huge interest in motorsports led me into recording vehicles. For my own company Pole Position Production, and later as a sound designer for Avalanche Studios, I have participated in planning and recording over a hundred vehicles ranging from boats, jets, tanks and extreme race cars. Some of these can be heard in games such as “Need For Speed Hot Pursuit 2010”, “Race07”, “Just Cause 2” and “Bad Company 2”.
