Co-Core International Art & Design Critiques
The Co-Core International Art & Design Critiques was held last week in Hongik University in Seoul, South Korea. Aalto University, Department of Design took part in the event with faculty and students.
The idea of Co-Core is to expose cross-disciplinary and cross-culturally student work in process for a rich dialogue. Rather then showing off the finished work, Co-Core intends to mix the formats of exhibition and pedagogical presence. In this year’s event there was more than 50 works on display and under discussion from five international universities for three long days.
In 2012 Aalto University is proud to organise the next Co-Core event in Helsinki.
The other partner universities are: Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University, China; Central Academy of Fine Arts, China; Tama Art University, Japan; College of Fine Arts, Hongik University, Korea.
