Basic principles of Brazilian business conduct

Mikko from our project team did some research about how to act when doing business in Brazil. Below is the basic principles of Brazilian business conduct:

– Personal contacts are needed

– Be formal enough and always have time for small talk

– International companies have similar policies to those of USA and Europe

– Never rush into doing business; people first, business second

– Punctuality is flexible, expect when going to a restaurant

– Dress fashionably, but avoid a combination of green and yellow

– Foreign visitors are appreciated
