B-keeper in rhythmic interaction
This is B-Keeper is a drum tracker which uses a click track to sync Ableton Live to drums, so that Live will follow the drummer. B-Keeper has been developed through a research project at the CENTRE FOR DIGITAL MUSIC, Queen Mary University of London.
On the video, you see David Nock on drums with B-Keeper controlling the tempo of “Hell Yes” – used as backing track. Whereas at first the tempo adjustment is slight, towards the end he pushes it too far so it is a couple of bars before the computer re-adjusts. For more details see b-keeper.org
