We welcome all ADA 2024 participants to the get-together & networking event on Wednesday, 10 July <\/strong>.

Our setting is the iconic L\u00f6yly Sauna, Bar & Restaurant<\/a> on the southern tip of Helsinki. During the informal evening, you will get to enjoy refreshments and the famous L\u00f6yly salmon soup. The entire sauna department and its adjacent terrace are reserved for ADA 18:00-21:00. Why not try the gentle steam of the smoke sauna and take a refreshing swim in the sea! We warmly recommend it and remind you to bring your swimsuit as the saunas are mixed.
You can naturally join the party without going to the sauna; the terrace towards the sea will be our outdoor venue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

17:30 <\/strong>our private buses to L\u00f6yly will depart in front of Otakaari 1 venue.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

18:00 to 21:00<\/strong> The entire L\u00f6yly sauna department and adjacent terraces are reserved for ADA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

18:00-19:30<\/strong> Sauna Experience I<\/p>\n\n\n\n

19:30- 21:00<\/strong> Sauna Experience II<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the evening, we will enjoy refreshments and the famous L\u00f6yly salmon soup. We remind you to bring  (or rent) your swimsuit<\/strong> as the saunas are mixed. Towels and lockers are included.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please note<\/strong>
During the first conference day we will ask you to sign up for Sauna Experience I (18:00-19:30) or Sauna Experience II (19:30-21:00) as the sauna space is limited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Accompanying persons are welcome to join.
From L\u00f6yly it is a 20-30 min walk back  to the city centre or our staff will guide you to hop on the nearby tram nr 6 towards the railway station. Our student volunteers will guide you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to join the Get-together?<\/strong>
If you arrive on your own, meet up at 18:00 at the L\u00f6yly restaurant<\/strong> in Helsinki, Hernesaarenranta 4 (tram number 6 very convenient from city centre).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sauna is an essential part of Finnish culture and the national identity. There are only 5.4 million Finns, but the country has 3.3 million saunas. L\u00f6yly is without a doubt one of the most popular public saunas in Helsinki \u2013 now you have the opportunity find out why.<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Cruise & Conference Dinner on July 11, 2024<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

After the second conference day, we will take you out for a tour at sea! A private boat will cruise along the shore and offer a small treat of seaside Espoo. We will pass the nearby Keilaniemi business park – a hub of high tech, innovations and business life, as well as the beautiful Espoo archipelago.
Unplugged from the buzz of the city, our elegant yet charming Swedish-Finnish Cultural Centre Hanaholmen<\/a> welcomes us. It is located on its own island on the border between Espoo and Helsinki, about 4 km from the Aalto University campus and conference venue. Its Restaurant PLATS will serve us locally sourced, organic Finnish delicacies with hand-picked wines!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

18:15 <\/strong>Our staff will guide you to the pier Otaranta, 10 min walk from venue, Otakaari 1<\/p>\n\n\n\n

18:20<\/strong> Our staff will guide guests from Hotel Radisson Espoo to the pier Otaranta (5 min walk)
18:30<\/strong> Our private water bus departs from the pier Otaranta, we reach Hanasaari island at 19:00<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

22:00<\/strong> Private buses will transport you to Helsinki city centre (Kamppi) and\/or to Aalto University campus Otaniemi (Radisson Blu Hotel Espoo & Heymo Hotel).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
